Pham was our tour guide and host and he is the most friendly and genuine man we’ve came across in Vietnam, full of jokes and information also speaks good English.
This is definitely the best way to explore halong bay and I wouldn’t recommend any other tour group apart from this one. They have there own special route which avoids tourists which gives you a more intimate and private feeling of halong bay, the rooms are unbelievable. The food is great also and all the staff on the boat are incredibly friendly and nice and are always willing to help you no matter what the scenario.

We were overwhelmed by the quality of service from Viland and the tour guide, Tai. They all speak fluent English, but they know every corner of the city and it’s heritage. You can tell they love what they do and are proud of where they come from. Tour guides are worth every penny because they get you cheaper admission so you won’t get ripped off. They also keep the hecklers away from you. I definitely recommend going to them directly, they are half price to what’s on Expedia and other sites.

I usually plan my own travel, but since I was traveling alone and had limited time to research, I opted to use a travel company. After sending some inquiries to a few different companies, I settled on Viland Travel because the representative, Evelyn, was so quick to respond to my questions and make suggestions for itineraries that matched my interests, their prices seemed fair, and they could accommodate the specific dates I wanted to travel. Throughout the process, Evelyn was in contact with me sending updates and helpful information, and she even made time to meet with me for a coffee when I was in Hanoi. I was very impressed by this personal touch and wonderful customer service! The package itself was extremely well organized with guides/drivers coming to collect me on time, activities/tours were fun and educational, and hotel check-in processes were very efficient. All of the hotels were great – better than I would’ve booked for myself! I couldn’t have asked for a better travel experience or a better Viland representative in Evelyn! Highly recommend!

We booked a 10 day Vietnam and Cambodia trip with Sarah and had an excellent experience. Sarah helped us customize and organize the trip.

From the minute we landed in Vietnam, Sarah was in constant touch with us helping us with local tips and ensuring that the trip was executed like clock work. On one of the days, we had an early morning 6am flight, Sarah got up at 4am made sure cab picked us up on time and dropped us to the airport. We were floored by her commitment. @Sarah way to raise the bar :).

We had an amazing time on the oasis bay cruise – Viktor our guide made sure did and the vegetarian food on the cruise was lip smacking good. Mr. Nam, our ever cheerful guide with his fun facts made our trip to Saigon memorable. We plan to do another trip to Vietnam with viland

I would give a rating of 3 on 5 for viland.. the itinerary was good but customer service could have been better. Nevertheless we had a good trip..!
