I had an amazing time in Vietnam and Thailand in October 2022. Kata Tran was outstanding in our booking process, and our communications with her were the main reason I booked through Viland Travel. We are four friends who booked a private 22-day tour of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia with Viland Travel and had an amazing time. We have just returned from a 24-day excursion in Vietnam, Cambodia, and Thailand. Linh was awesome to deal with. Linh gave us a phone call, right after we sent a travel request to Viland Travel. She listened to what we love to do on our private tour and worked out everything to match. The whole tour unfolded on time and without a hitch. The guides’ knowledge of the sites and English was very good and the drivers were timely and caring. They always had a cold bottle of water and cleansing towel ready for us when we returned from visiting a site. The highlight of our trip was visiting the Patara Elephant Park outside of Chaing Mai, Thailand, where we spent a full day with the elephants: learning about them and being taught how to communicate with them; feed them; water them; ride them in the jungle for 45 minutes; then bathing them. It was WONDERFUL. Linh recommended this particular Farm for an elephant experience and we were so happy because we had heard from others about their disappointment at some other elephant sanctuaries/excursions. Patara Farm is associated with the Veterinary Department of Chiang Mai University so you know the animals are well cared for and it shows. I would HIGHLY recommend Viland Travel and Patara Elephant Farm.

Nice trip within friendly guides and lovely stops and lunch. Snorkelling, kayaking and sunbathing in some laid back, beautiful spots. Great value for money.

Our family booked a cooking class on the internet and they picked Us up at the hotel. Our guide-chef was Sunny and she was brilliant! First she showed Us the busy market place and how to select fresh food. Then we enjoyed two boat rides, the second one through very scenic water coconut. We arrived at a very beautiful and peaceful plače. Sunny thoroughly explained and showed how to make 4 different dishes and then supervised us, as we all cooked on our own. My son was very proud when she helped him to flambe the beef! Sunny made the whole experience truly wonderful! Great for families!
