Story about Viland
It has been more than a decade since Mr. Quan Tran decided to establish Viland Travel in 2010, entering the tourism industry with an overnight cruise on Halong Bay. All Quan had at that time was youth, agility, and a strong love for traveling. Viland stands for “Vietnam Land,” expressing his desire to introduce the essence of the country to friends all over the world. The early days were fraught with difficulties, and just a few FIT bookings came from walk-in customers. After determining to pursue the mission of providing customers with authentic holidays, Quan and his associates have spent a lot of time creating specialized products and building a seamless customer experience. Working professionally, keeping prestige, and prioritizing customers are three principles in all activities at Viland.
After the first year, Viland welcomed nearly 7,000 guests with 98% excellent feedback. That success has motivated Viland to invest more in the tourism field. Viland has launched the Oasis overnight cruise brand, managed two hotels on Cat Ba Island, operated an eco-tourism complex on Freedom Island, and established a tour operator providing private packages in Vietnam and Southeast Asia.
In 2019, Viland welcomed 30,000 customers and conquered the FIT segment in 97 countries and territories, especially in the US, Australian, and European markets. In 2022, Viland marked its return by welcoming 15,000 customers since Vietnam reopened in March. We are excited about continuing our growth and shaping the future with a new goal. The board of directors believes that any successful journey begins with good leadership and that caring about customers and employees is the right thing to do. That makes a better company, a better society, and a better life.
