Detailed itinerary
Day 1
Land in Hanoi, Vietnam’s bustling capital.
You are landing at Noi Bai International Airport. Welcome to Hanoi, the capital city of Vietnam, a must-see destination for any traveler interested in experiencing the rich history and culture of Southeast Asia. After processing the immigration procedure (visa on arrival is available or obtained in advance via Vietnam E-visa ), collecting your luggage, please move to the arrival lounge where Viland Travel’s representative is waiting for you with a welcome signboard. After greeting, you are transferred 45 minutes to Hanoi downtown. Check in to the room and spend the rest of the day to relax.
Note: Hotel check-in time is at 2:00 pm; your room may or may not be ready before this time.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Meals: None.

Day 2
Hanoi: A half-day tour of culture & food on antique Minsk.
The opening of the day will be introducing you to “the REAL HANOI” by showing the daily life of locals. Your friendly companions take you through backstreets, tiny alleys, local homes, schools, random markets, and the black market so you can see how people live, work, and play there. This is your chance to immerse yourself and blend into the soul of our elegant capital – a unique, ambiguous and abstract beauty that is rarely mentioned.
You will not only see the good things but also the ugliness and weirdness of Hanoi as it is. Consequently, you will fall in love with a perfectly imperfect Hanoi any one way over another, like the way you fall in love with your lover regardless of her lovely flaws.
Of course, our courteous drivers will then take you pass by and stop at must-see places such as Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum-the Mecca of Vietnamese, the 1000-year-old Buddhist and Taoist temples of Tran Quoc, the historical training track, the enchanting French Quarter, the hustling and relevant Old Quarter, the romantic lakes of Hoan Kiem, West Lake, the Hanoi Opera House, and the famous Long Bien Bridge. Make sure you prepare a good mood and a camera with plenty of capacity to capture these beautiful memories.
After that, temporarily away from the hustle and bustle of the busy city, you are going to be taken to the poetic and peaceful villages and floating communities along the Red River to enrich your experiences of the contrast in the harmony of life between the city and the countryside of Hanoi.
Last but not least, we will take you to different authentic local restaurants, eateries and food stalls to fill your hungry stomach after a long day trip. Because food is the key to connecting people, it would be a mistake to miss the chance to savor the tastiest of the tasty dishes of Hanoi, including family heirlooms and secret recipe dishes, local delicacies, and specialties.
The evening will be the time for you to rest and prepare for the journey tomorrow morning.
Overnight in Hanoi.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 3
Hanoi – Lan Ha Bay: Kayak to discover the garden of karsts.
As you weave through the islands, you’ll come across secluded bays, white sandy beaches, and floating villages. There are caves to explore, and islands to cycle on, and the pristine waters are perfect for swimming and kayaking. Your boat will be your home away from home as you explore Lan Ha Bay, and there are few experiences as magical as watching the sunrise from the comfort of your cabin, then watching it sink behind the sparkling water as the day draws to an end.
Overnight onboard on Lan Ha Bay.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner.

Day 4
Lan Ha bay: Through the Water once more – Fly to Da Nang/ Hoi An.
You come to the fishing village of Viet Hai, one of Vietnam’s last remaining hidden gems, largely untouched by industrial development. It lies nestled on the eastern side of Cat Ba and is inaccessible by road from the rest of the island – hence its isolation. The 300-person village was founded before the designation of Cat Ba National Park, and thus parts of the village still remain within the park, making for a uniquely beautiful setting. This is where you can really get to grips with local Vietnamese life, including tree-planting with the locals, learning how wine is fermented, fishing, and animal farming.
After disembarking from the cruise ship, you can access Viet Hai by bicycle or electric buggy. The visit takes between one and two hours. Your private driver is waiting for you at the dock to send you back to Noi Bai Airport. After departing from Hanoi by air and arriving in Danang, you are met by your private transfer and taken to the charming city of Hoi An, where the merchant past shaped its quintessential presence within the elegant architecture and sleepy town atmosphere.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Meals: Brunch.

Day 5
Hoi An – Experience traditional living.
You can experience a slow-paced lifestyle by taking a city tour of UNESCO landmarks. On the walking tour, you will visit original temples, ancient houses, and community halls while fragrant food stalls dot the sidewalks, allowing locals to share their culinary culture. The second part of this morning is learning how to make a colorful lantern. You will visit a family with a tradition of making lanterns. Here, you can see many different types of lanterns, and with the guidance of a lantern craftsman, you will make your favorite lantern.
Enjoy a tasty lunch and walk back to the hotel. It’s time for your children to enjoy the hotel’s swimming pool and relax at the beach while you can try massage packages, which are inexpensive, enjoyable, and relaxing.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 6
Hoi An – Cham Island: Snorkeling & trip excursion.
But it’s not just about snorkeling. Enjoy lunch on Cham Island at spectacular Bai Chong beach in a bamboo-style restaurant under the coconut trees. After lunch, you have free time on Bai Chong with more swimming, frisbee, volleyball, or just relaxing in a hammock or deck chair with a cool drink and a sensational view. It’s selfie heaven. You finish the perfect day with a slow cruise back to Hoi An as local fishing boats depart Hoi An’s Thu Bon River, enjoying stunning views. A photographer’s delight!
Overnight in Hoi An.
Meals: Breakfast, Lunch.

Day 7
Hoi An – Quy Nhon: Slow down & enjoy the beautiful central coastline.
The 6-hour journey passes through the lush landscapes and spectacular coastlines of Central Vietnam and combines old-world comfort, breathtaking views, and gourmet dining to leave you inspired, refreshed, and ready for your next destination.
Overnight in Quy Nhon.
Meals: Breakfast

Day 8
Quy Nhon – Discover the Maldives of Vietnam.
Explore Ghenh Rang, Tien Sa sights, Mong Cam slope, Thi Nhan Hill, Han Mac Tu Grave, and Queen Beach. You will learn about the talented poet Han Mac Tu’s life – and enjoy the panoramic view of Quy Nhon Coastal. Continue to the Binh Dinh General Museum, which preserves and displays the historical and cultural objects of Binh Dinh from the early centuries.
Finish the morning tour at Twin Towers, the one-of-a-kind architectural gem of Champa. Spend the afternoon discovering the Quy Hoa leprosy site, where the poet Han Mac Tu lived and wrote in the leprosy years. Visit Long Khanh Pagoda – Ancestral Temple – historical landscapes of Binh Dinh Province. The Pagoda was built in 1700 by the Patriarch Duc Son 300 years ago and passed over to 13 abbots as a legend. The end of the tour is getting back to the hotel.
Overnight in Quy Nhon.
