Xin chào Việt Nam! Hello Vietnam!

A warm greeting awaits you at Noi Bai International Airport; your private guide and driver will meet you in the arrivals lounge and transfer you to your hotel in Hanoi. Hanoi is a window into a world from long ago that has been dragged into the present. Motorbikes whizz around, ladies haggle over the price of bread being sold from a bicycle, and business deals are struck over a cup of green tea whilst sitting on little plastic stools by the side of the road. Prepare to be amazed by this frantic, yet incredibly charming slice of real Asia.

Overnight in Hanoi.

Note: While every effort is made to have your room available upon arrival, check-in time is at 2:00 pm; your room may or may not be ready before this time.

Meals: none.

Ha Noi old street

Meet your guide at the lobby for a full-day tour with many exciting outdoor activities. Visit the amazing Museum of Ethnology on the outskirts of Hanoi by taking a quick trip there. From the outside, you will be attracted by the presentation and layout, from the form to the displayed content, which is very scientific and logical. It is to grasp the cultural colors of each ethnic group. After two hours of learning about Vietnamese culture, discuss with your local tour guide where you love visiting: the Temple of Literature, the Fine Arts Museum, Hoa Lo Prison, or the Women’s Museum (select one, please).

Today you will have Bún Chả for lunch. The Bún Chả will have vermicelli, grilled meat, and side dishes, including pickled vegetables, lettuce, and some herbs. A feature of Bún Chả is served with a bowl of fish sauce seasoned to taste, adding a little spice from pureed chili. Bún Chả will be a wonderful dining experience in the “Asian food paradise” – Vietnam for sure!

To start the afternoon activities, we will visit Hidden Gem, a Vietnamese Coffee Shop. The coffee shop is impressive because the furniture is created by taking advantage of discarded products such as plastic bottles, tires, paint containers, and some parts of motorbikes and tractors. This activity aims to protect the environment. A cup of Vietnamese egg coffee is a must-try there.

A fun cyclo tour is waiting for you! You will ride through the French colonial architecture of the precinct known as the French Quarter, past the French-style villas, the Vietnam History Museum, the heritage Metropole Legend Hotel, and the Opera House. The cyclo tour will end in front of a beautiful Spa in the Old Quarter. You end the day with a 60-minute body massage package.

The scenery of Halong Bay, where thousands of limestone islands jut out of the emerald sea, sculpted into bizarre shapes, is truly an iconic image of Vietnam. An overnight boat trip is the best way to enjoy this Vietnamese must-see.

Saying goodbye to Hanoi, you drive through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta to the legendary Halong Bay. It takes you 3 hours, including a 20-minute stop. Arrive at the jetty in Halong City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities. After a welcome onboard, enjoy a tasty lunch while cruising to the mythical bay.

Around mid-afternoon, you participate in some activities to discover every corner of the bay. Each cruise operates a different itinerary, and caving, kayaking, rowing boating, and swimming are the most popular ones. Towards the end of the day, the cruise sets anchor for the night among the karst formations.

Dinner is on board.

After breakfast, enjoy your time relaxing in the amazing view of the bay while the boat continues cruising further for sightseeing.

In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary), such as taking a bicycle ride to enjoy gorgeous scenery along village roads or swimming in a natural beach area.

Relax time as we cruise to the sleeping area. Enjoy a delicious dinner on board. After dinner, reward yourself with a large selection of cocktails at our bar or enjoy the landscape of the bay at night. The sun rises on Halong Bay in the morning and breakfast is served (also brunch on some boats) while the vessels cruise slowly back towards port. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi airport. Take a short flight to Danang. On arrival in Danang, transfer 40 minutes to Hoi An, a major Asian trading port in the 17th and 18th centuries whose architecture and relaxed lifestyle have changed little over the years.

Hoi An is a charming World Heritage village that is being beautifully restored and preserved that will captivate you immediately. No matter what you like, you will find it here, whether it is shopping, restaurants, photography, history, architecture, golf, fishing, swimming, scuba, abseiling, or massage and lazing around. Hoi An has become famous for its tailoring, where there is a huge variety of fabrics to choose from.

Besides, An Bang beach in Hoi An, just 3 km away from the center of Hoi An town, is an ideal place for any traveler. The moment of relaxing in the cool breeze, leaving behind the hustle and bustle of the city, will make your trip more meaningful than ever. With the beauty of tranquility, An Bang beach attracts a lot of visitors who come to relax their minds.

Hoi An Japanese Covered Bridge Pagoda

You start a new day with an orientation walk in Hoi An town. The walking tour will offer you a chance to visit: a private house where members of the same family have lived continuously for centuries in a traditional setting; the Sa Huynh Museum, which contains exhibitions from the earliest period of Hoi An’s history; and the famous Japanese Covered Bridge Pagoda, the iconic symbol of Hoi An nowadays.

The second part of this morning is learning how to make a colorful lantern. Getting the guide from your instructor, you will select from a wealth of different silks, craft a bamboo frame, and create your lantern, which will fold neatly into your luggage and bring it back home as a souvenir. Enjoy lunch before walking back to the hotel and spending the rest of the day by the swimming pool or beach.

Enjoy a beautiful morning in Hoi An by cycling along the Thu Bon River to visit a local finishing village. You ride leisurely along the country lanes, viewing local life with a view of farmers working with their water buffalo in the fields. Peddle your way through palm forests, bridges, and pons; you will arrive in Cam Thanh Village.

Take a short break with a local family before enjoying a 1-hour ride on a traditional wooden boat to explore the water coconut palm forest. While learning how to sail the basket boat, you also get a chance to relax by catching fish and purple crabs in the canal.

Saying goodbye to the Cam Thanh Villagers, you continue the bike ride to another village. You stop at the organic vegetable village of Tra Que, where a large variety of vegetables are sold to the local community. There, you will see the environmentally sustainable practices that the local villagers have used for centuries and are still using extensively today.

Visit Kum Quat restaurant, and join a cooking class with Thành & his wife. Today, you will cook some Hoi An traditional foods, then sit down for a delicious lunch by yourself. Cycle back to the hotel, and relax by the swimming pool or at the beach.

September, October, and November are the most beautiful months for a honeymoon in Dalat. At this time, Da Lat is filled with beautiful blooming flower fields. The winter weather offers a sweet chill with fog, creating a very romantic space just for two people. Strolling around Xuan Huong Lake, taking a leisurely walk on the pine hills, or finding a small bar to sip a glass of wine while listening to a piece of romantic music is what we always encourage couples to do together.

Free time until our driver transfers you to the airport for your short flight to Saigon. Upon your arrival at Saigon airport, look for our driver and guide, who will be waiting for you with a sign bearing your name. The journey from the airport to your hotel will take approximately half an hour and is an entertaining experience full of chaotic traffic and millions of motorbikes.

Ho Chi Minh City, formally Saigon, is a city of bright neon lights, endless shopping, and trendy cafes. Its wide, tree-lined boulevards reflect its French heritage, and towering skyscrapers announce that it has landed squarely in the 21st Century. In contrast to this modern backdrop is the chaotic traffic of swarming motorbikes, which are generally overloaded or carrying exotic passengers. This is a signature of Ho Chi Minh City, which you will hardly find anywhere else in the world.

In the afternoon, our guide will meet you at the hotel to begin your city tour, which will include a visit to the absorbing War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral, and the historic Post Office built by the French.

Overnight in Saigon.

Meals: Breakfast.

Ho Chi Minh city Notre Dame Cathedral

7.00 am Our guide will meet you at the hotel and you will proceed to the riverside to board our boat for a scenic speedboat ride along the Saigon River to the Cu Chi Tunnels.  Great excitement with excellent views from the comfort of your boat.  Upon arriving in Cu Chi, you will see the amazing network of communist guerrilla tunnels. There are many sights to see during this excursion, including the ingenuous traps, demonstrations of how their weapons and bombs were made, underground kitchens, and a brief propaganda video produced in 1969.  Plus, you can even explore a short section of the tunnels and fire an AK47 if you are feeling brave!

You will return to Saigon by boat, arriving at approximately 1 pm.

Today, you will take an afternoon flight to Phu Quoc Island. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your resort in Phu Quoc for your relaxation (scheduled shuttle bus from your resort).

Overnight in Phu Quoc Island.
