Ha Noi Hoan Kiem Lake
Venture into the heart of the jungle on this full-day tour of Cuc Phuong National Park. Explore the park while on a hike, observing the way the jungle comes alive. Visit the langurs and the Endangered Primate Rescue Center to see how they live in the wild.
In the morning, your private guide will meet you in the lobby of your Hanoi hotel. From there, begin your two-hour ride to the Cuc Phuong National Park in Ninh Binh. Upon your arrival, visit the langurs and the Endangered Primate Rescue Center. Here, professional staff protects monkeys and langurs from becoming extinct. The environment is kept as close to its natural habitat as possible.
Afterward, enjoy a typical lunch at a local restaurant, recommended by your guide. Take a hiking trip into the heart of the jungle in the afternoon. As you hike, observe the rare flora and fauna that surround you. Listen to the exotic birds as they sing and stand in the middle of the jungle to take in nature in its purest form. From there, continue to walk the trail, taking photos along the way.
Late in the day, you will return to the car and transfer back to your Hanoi hotel.

Cuc Phuong National Park
Meet your guide at the lobby for a full-day tour with many exciting outdoor activities. Visit the amazing Museum of Ethnology on the outskirts of Hanoi by taking a quick trip there. From the outside, you will be attracted by the presentation and layout, from the form to the displayed content, which is very scientific and logical. It is to grasp the cultural colors of each ethnic group. After two hours of learning about Vietnamese culture, you will move to Hoa Lo Prison (so-called Hanoi Hilton), which tells you a part of Vietnamese history & wars.
Today you will have Bún Chả for lunch. The Bún Chả will have vermicelli, grilled meat, and side dishes, including pickled vegetables, lettuce, and some herbs. A feature of Bún Chả is served with a bowl of fish sauce seasoned to taste, adding a little spice from pureed chili. Bún Chả will be a wonderful dining experience in the “Asian food paradise” – Vietnam for sure!
To start the afternoon activities, we will visit Hidden Gem, a Vietnamese Coffee Shop. The coffee shop is impressive because the furniture is created by taking advantage of discarded products such as plastic bottles, tires, paint containers, and some parts of motorbikes and tractors. This activity aims to protect the environment. A cup of Vietnamese egg coffee is a must-try there. Day-use room until 6 pm for relaxation and refreshment. Dinner is on your own.
At around 20:30, our guide & driver transfer you to Hanoi Railway Station for your overnight stay from Hanoi to Lao Cai. SP3 22:00 – 06:05 (the next morning) or a similar train. On the train, your luggage can be stored underneath your bottom bunk. During the journey, please make sure you keep your valuables locked up and not lying around on the bedside table. Train journeys are part of a great local experience. However, they can be challenging. Cabins are shared with other local passengers (unless a private cabin is requested and all berths are reserved and paid for). Restrooms at either end of the carriages complete the local experience and may be smelly. Make sure you bring your own toilet paper. (Train timetable is subject to change)
You can leave your large luggage at the hotel in storage and take only what you need on the train journey. Space is limited in the train carriage, and boarding can be awkward if you have big suitcases.

Hanoi Hoa Lo prison
Arrive at Lao Cai train station on a foggy morning. After greetings, our guide and driver will send you to Sapa mountainous town where you can enjoy breakfast in a cozy restaurant. Please take note that there will be no day room available before your trek today unless you have previously requested and paid for this. Any luggage can be stored at the hotel for collection later.
Meet up with your local tour guide at 9:00 am. After a brief introduction, take a leisure walk 2 km down to Cat Cat, a well-known village of Hmong people. Reach the hanging bridge over the Muong Hoa River, and continue uphill into the mountains and through a bamboo forest. Stop to admire the most beautiful rice terraces in Vietnam and enjoy the breathtaking mountain view from the top of Hoang Lien Son Mountain. Head to Y Linh Ho Village and enjoy lunch in a small traditional restaurant run by a local Hmong family. In the afternoon, you visit Lao Chai, a village of Black Hmong. Trek to Ta Van village, where you meet the Giay minority to learn about the differences between the ethnic minority groups. See your driver at the village’s gate, and return to Sapa.

Sapa Valleys
Enjoying breakfast with a cup of coffee is a great way to start a new day, and see your guide and driver at 9:00 for a half-day tour of Ta Phin Village. During a short drive from downtown to the valley, you have some stops to admire the valley view, rice terraces, and hilly land. Upon arrival, you have a 2-hour stroll around the village, encounter the locals, or visit some families to learn about the differences in culture and lifestyle between the Red Dzao people and the Black Mong people. Return downtown at noon for check-out and have lunch at a local restaurant. Board the afternoon luxury bus to return to Hanoi (5.5 hours). You can expect to arrive in Hanoi in the late evening.

The scenery of Halong Bay where thousands of limestone islands jut out of the emerald sea, sculpted into bizarre shapes, is truly an iconic image of Vietnam. An overnight boat trip is the best way to enjoy this Vietnamese must-see.
Saying goodbye to Hanoi, you drive through the rich farmlands of the Red River Delta to the legendary Halong Bay. It takes you 3 hours, including a 20-minute stop. Arrive at the jetty in Halong City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities. After a welcome onboard, enjoy a tasty lunch while cruising to the mythical bay. Around mid-afternoon, you participate in some activities to discover every corner of the bay. Each cruise operates a different itinerary, and caving, kayaking, rowing boating, and swimming are the most popular ones. Towards the end of the day, the cruise sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is on board.

Get up early and don’t miss the chance to watch the sunrise at one of the most beautiful places on the planet. Participating in a tai chi class on the sundeck is a way to welcome a new day full of energy. At the end of the gentle training session, you move to the restaurant and enjoy a hot breakfast with a cup of fragrant coffee. Some gentle activities in the bay will be arranged and announced by the cruise’s staff. If you don’t want to participate, you can choose to relax on board: watching movies, reading books, or sightseeing are also attractive options. After all, a buffet brunch is served while sailing slowly back toward the port. Disembark and transfer back to Noi Bai airport for a flight to Dong Hoi. Upon arrival, you are welcomed by Viland’s local driver, and take you 60 minutes to get to the Phong Nha area.

After breakfast, you meet your guide and driver at the hotel lobby for a full-day tour. The Phong Nha National Park Tour will give you an overview of the National Park and the popular attractions at a very reasonable price. Whilst driving a loop around the National Park, you will stop to see the touristic highlights of the park. Starting with some history and culture in the morning at 8 Ladies Cave and War Martyr Memorial Temple, you then visit the spectacular Paradise Cave, where you will have time to take in the scale and beauty of this cave passage. After lunch, you will take on the activities of the adventurous and popular Dark Cave.
Adventure level: Low to Moderate – Suitable for most ages and abilities. Some physical fitness is required, including climbing stairs, swimming, and walking on uneven and slippery ground. Some scrambling is required in Dark Cave, and there is lots of mud.
Please note a weight requirement for the zip-line – you must be between 40 kg and 90 kg.

Phong Nha Dark cave
After breakfast, at 8:30 am our guide will meet you at the hotel for your full amazing day tour. The Abandoned Valley is located in a remote part of the world’s heritage Phong Nha – Ke Bang National Park. This tour takes in 12km of the Ho Chi Minh trail, through the Abandoned Valley, exploring the Vietnamese tropical forest and experiencing the history of the Vietnam-American War as you trek along the narrow track. Explore the other exit of the now famous Dark Cave, and explore unspoiled Hang En where you can swim in a crystal clear natural spring. Hang E is one of the most beautiful river caves in the Phong Nha-Ke Bang National Park and is in a completely unspoiled environment.
The porter team will prepare you a fantastic barbecue lunch in the jungle to fuel you for the trek back out of the valley. This tour is a great opportunity to get into the jungle, explore two unspoiled caves, and experience authentic Vietnam whilst supporting employment for local people.
Moderate to high – a good level of fitness is required for the challenging terrain of the 12km jungle hike.

Phong Nha trekking cave
In the morning, we will depart from the Phong Nha area, heading south towards Hue city. The first stop is at Vinh Moc tunnel on the Southbound way to Hue. At the tunnel, you will visit the museum and then go underground to experience the village with family rooms, a maternity room, a meeting room, an air vent, and an exit to the sea. The second stop is the Hien Luong bridge, right at the 17th parallel. Here you will see the frontline flagpole, border police memorial, and 17th parallel museum, and you can walk across the bridge to see the National Aspiration for Reunification on the southern bank of the Ben Hai river. Hopping into the car, you keep going to Dong Ha city. On the way, you will pass by the Gio Linh base or Doc Mieu firebase – one of the strongest points of the Defensive McNamara Line. Upon arrival, you visit Mine Action Visitor Central (if not Saturday, or Sunday) – a display of Explosive Remnants of War (ERW) found and collected around the DMZ. Lunch break in Dong Ha city. Take your time to discover the gastronomical delights of Quang Tri province.
In the afternoon, continue the tour to Highway 9 National Cemetery, where more than 10.000 martyrs served in the war. Rockpile – a US Marine beside Highway 9 to Laos is your next stop. Keep going to the west, along Highway 9 towards Laos, until you stop at Dakrong bridge – a starting point of the legendary Ho Chi Minh trail, leading to the famed Ashau valley and Hamburger Hill. Not finished yet, your adventure to the West will stop at another famous site – Khe Sanh Combat Base, which holds the longest single battle of the Vietnam war, fought in 1968 during the Tet Offensive. Drive back to Dong Ha with some background music from the Vietnam war to appreciate more the beautiful landscapes of the DMZ area with acacia forest, tapioca and rubber plantations, rugged hills, and mountains with distant stilt houses of the Bru ethnic people. You can stop at a local Bru market to see the local products sold by the locals (avocado, jack fruit, bamboo shoots). Say goodbye to your guide in Dong Ha, and our driver will take you to your accommodation in Hue city.

Quang Tri Ben Hai River
At 8.30 am our guide will meet you at your hotel and introduce you to our highly skilled and qualified drivers, who are sensitive to tentative pillion passengers and will travel at a gentle pace of 40km or less. After a safety briefing, your adventure begins. During the tour, you will ride through little laneways, beside canals, and through local markets, visit a king’s tomb, a pagoda, and local handicrafts. During your journey, you will visit Hue’s Citadel and the Forbidden Purple City and learn about Vietnam’s emperors and their intriguing histories. Lunch is a delicious traditional Buddhist banquet served at a pagoda. This is a truly action-packed day of scenery, history, culture, and cuisine. You have the option of joining this tour by private air-conditioned vehicle.

Hue city - Khai Dinh Tomb
At 8.30 am you will depart Hue to begin your 160km journey to Hoi An, traveling through coastal rice paddies to the fishing village of Lang Co, before taking the scenic mountainous route over the spectacular Hai Van Pass. You will climb to 496 m (1,627 ft) on a road quoted in the Top Gear Program as “a deserted ribbon of perfection”—one of the best coast roads in the world.
On the way to Hoi An, visit Marble Mountains (Five Elements Mountains) a cluster of five marble and limestone hills located in Ngu Hanh Son District, south of Da Nang city in Vietnam. The five mountains are named after the five elements: metal, water, wood, fire, and earth.
Hoi An is a charming World Heritage village that is being beautifully restored and preserved that will captivate you immediately. No matter what you like, you will find it here, whether it is shopping, restaurants, photography, history, architecture, golf, fishing, swimming, scuba, abseiling, or massage and lazing around. Hoi An has become famous for its tailoring, where there is a huge variety of fabrics to choose from.
In the afternoon, our guide will meet you at your hotel and drive you to an orientation walk in Hoi An town. Known as Faifo to early Western traders, Hoi An was one of the major trading centers in Southeast Asia between the 16th & 17th centuries. A charming 16th-century merchant town, with strong Japanese and Chinese influences, Hoi An is best explored on foot. Declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its well-preserved architecture and is a thriving center of traditional handicrafts. Wander through the cobbled streets, past low tile-roofed buildings, the bustling central market, and the small harbor where colorfully painted boats are moored. Your walking tour will include visits to a private house where members of the same family have lived continuously for centuries in a traditional setting and to one of the family chapels built by prominent merchants or official families as centers for ancestor worship. Continue to the Sa Huynh Museum which contains exhibitions from the earliest period of Hoi An’s history. Finally, continue to the famous Japanese Covered Bridge Pagoda, first constructed in 1593 by the Japanese community of Hoi An to link the town with the Chinese quarters across the stream.

Da Nang Hai Van Pass
At 8 am, the tour starts by cycling along level ground to the Thu Bon River to visit a local fishing village.
Ride along country lanes at a peaceful pace, viewing local life, and pause to see farmers toiling in their rice fields using centuries of farming practices. Peddle your way through palm forests, across bridges, across fields of water buffalo…
Take a short break with a local family at Cam Thanh Village before enjoying a 1.5-hour ride on a traditional wooden boat in the Water Coconut Palm Forest. Learn how to sail the basket boat and spend your time catching fish and “purple crabs” in the Canal.
Continue to ride our bike to Tra Que Organic Vegetable Village where a large variety of vegetables are produced for the local community. At the village, you will be shown the environmentally sustainable practices that the local villagers have used for centuries and are still used extensively today.
Enjoy a cooking class for the traditional food of Hoi An then sit down for a delicious lunch. After lunch, we cycle back to the hotel. The afternoon is free at your leisure.

Optional excursion: My Son half-day tour: Time: Depart Hoi An for the 50km journey to My Son, which is a collection of temple ruins constructed between the 4th and 14th centuries by the kings of Champa. Influenced by Hinduism, these temples were a place for worshipping Shiva and Vishnu. During the war it became a base for the Viet Cong, which forced US bombing, leaving 20 of 70 structures intact. The tour of the ruins takes approximately 1.5 hours.

Quy Nhon Eo Gio
Enjoy breakfast at the hotel. After that, our guide & driver will meet you at the hotel for a long day from Quy Nhon to Phu Yen. You will visit the ancient Church of Màng Lăng with its unique Gothique style; visit Andre Phu Yen temple – Find out about the origin of the Quoc Ngu script.
Visit Da Dia rapids – the most famous tourist destination in Phu Yen, a national beauty spot. Da Dia rapids are 50m wide and stretched over 200m, resembling a giant honeycomb, a set of prismatic blocks arranged together, formed from erupting volcanic lava, frozen, and cracked when meeting seawater. Adjacent to this area is the dreamy, beautiful Bang beach. Have lunch at a local restaurant.
After lunch, we will pay a visit to Bai Xep, where the Yellow Flower film was shot on the green grass. Walking, taking pictures at the Village School as a scene in the movie “I see yellow flowers on green grass”, Dam O Loan, Tam Giang Dam on Cai River.

Phu Yen Bai Xep
After breakfast, our guide & driver will meet you at your hotel and take you on another amazing day from Tuy Hoa to Nha Trang.
Nhan Tower (located on Nhan mountain), is the ancient Cham tower built around the 12th century, with 4 floors, 23.5m high, and is considered one of the symbols of Phu Yen tourism. From here, you can admire the water painting of Nui Nhan – Song Da, admire Tuy Hoa city.
- Hai Dang Mui Dien – The easternmost point – The place to welcome the first sunrise on the Vietnamese mainland, with panoramic views at 110 meters above sea level.
- Visit the historic Vung Ro Bay where the “numberless trains” of the Ho Chi Minh trail on the sea, and listen to the event on February 15-19, 1965.
- Cross Bai Mon – bow-shaped beach, about 400m long with fine sand and still retains the inherent pristine features, this is considered the first sunrise beach in Vietnam and is also in the filming scenes of the movie “I see yellow flowers on green grass” directed by Victor Vu. You are free to take pictures here.

Phu Yen Bai Mon
Let’s get on a speedboat in Nha Trang Bay, one of the 29 most beautiful bays in the world. The motorboat breaks the waves and flies on the endless ocean surface with the blue color of the sea and the surrounding sky, giving you a feeling of adventure that is difficult to describe. The islands are covered with lush green forests looming in the ocean, which surround the bay and protect the mainland from the big waves. Fishing boats return from the far sea with lots of fish and seafood. All will give you a feeling of peace in the airy nature.
Coral sanctuaries in Nha Trang bay always attract many domestic and foreign tourists thanks to the richness and brilliance of corals. You will have the opportunity to participate in snorkeling to admire the beautiful coral world in Hon Mun coral sanctuary or San Ho Bay. Our professional tour guide will equip you with snorkeling equipment. It’s great to be able to float on the sea and look down to the ocean floor with blue, red, white, pink, and orange… coral rugs, swaying in the waves. The sea creatures that live in coral reefs that look very colorful appear and hide, making you more curious. Multicolored fish, starfish with strange shapes, giant snails… will make you satisfied.

In the afternoon, you will be transferred to Da Lat – ‘Vietnam’s honeymoon destination’, Da Lat has a dreamy romance about it, hidden away amongst mountains like an island in the clouds. Upon arrival, you’ll question whether you’re still in Vietnam or have ended up in the French Alps. A pleasant climate will welcome you and be the perfect accompaniment to exploring the town.

A tasty breakfast with a cup of hot coffee is the perfect way to start a new day. Meet up with your guide and drive to Da Lat Cable Car station, located on Robin hill, enjoy a panorama view of Da Lat and the marvelous sight of the pine forest stretched down to the south. A 300m cable car ride will bring you to Tuyen Lam Lake. Surrounded by pine forests, Tuyen Lam Lake looks like a paradise with Truc Lam, the largest Zen University in Vietnam. Take your time to enjoy the quiet scenery with a beautiful flower garden on the top of Phoenix Hill. Keep driving southward, and visit Datanla waterfall, with a magnificent view. On the way back downtown, you visit Bao Dai King’s Summer Palace, the last Emperor of the Nguyen Dynasty, where you can learn about the unique cultural lifestyle of the Vietnamese through Royal decoration. Lunch is at a local restaurant.
Continue your trip to Da Lat Flower Garden, which has a rich collection of local and foreign flower types: roses, chives, azaleas, birds of paradise, hydrangeas, orchids, and cacti. You can take pictures in the colorful flower garden, walk-in bonsai park, stroll along the romantic lakeside, ride a horse or use the swan pedal boat. If you love artwork, XQ Embroidery village is a worthy place to see many miraculous handmade embroidery works and learn how they make that fantastic artwork. Next, you visit a giant golden statue of Sakyamuni Buddha and the Cock Church (the biggest church in Dalat, which was designed and built by a Frenchman).

Da Lat Bao Dai King Summer Palace
Today you are free at your leisure until our driver transfers you to the airport for your short 45-minute flight from Da Lat – Ho Chi Minh.
Upon arrival at Tan Son Nhat airport, you will be met by our driver for your transfer to your hotel in Ho Chi Minh. Ho Chi Minh City, formally Saigon, is a city of bright neon lights, endless shopping, and trendy cafes. Its wide tree-lined boulevards reflect its French heritage, and towering skyscrapers announce that it has landed squarely in the 21st Century. In contrast to this modern backdrop is the chaotic traffic of swarming motorbikes, which are generally overloaded or carrying exotic passengers. After breakfast, our guide will meet you at the hotel to begin your city tour. You will explore great architecture in one of our largest cities in Vietnam. The architecture of Ho Chi Minh City is a splendid mix of Vietnam’s historical heritage, from French colonial villas to modern steel and glass monuments. The top architectural sights for tourists date back to the time when Saigon, the “Pearl of Indochina” was the capital of French Indochina. More has been added to the cultural heritage since then and we see interesting times ahead in terms of modern architecture. Our guide would be more than happy to take you to the absorbing War Remnants Museum, the Reunification Palace, the Notre Dame Cathedral and the historic Post Office built by the French. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, you will be transferred to the Cu Chi tunnel, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by the Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. This vast network of tunnels played a huge part in the Viet Cong’s victory over the Americans, allowing them to control a large rural area surrounding HCM City. At the Cu Chi Tunnels, you will watch a brief introductory video, followed by a walk through the reserve. If you are feeling brave, you can crawl inside the Cu Chi Tunnels to experience how difficult life must have been, and discover the 3 underground levels. There will also be a chilling exhibition of the traps and weapons used against the American GI’s.

Ho Chi Minh Cu Chi Tunnel
After breakfast, our driver transfers you to Cai Be. Arriving at Cai Be in the morning at around 11:00 AM, you will be welcomed by the hospitable smile of the local guide and invited to some fresh fruit or drink before embarking on a boat to visit Cai Be inland and floating market, and traditional villages where they produce candies, bánh tráng (rice paper), etc. There you can observe the daily lives of local people who live mostly based on the river sources. You may buy some fresh tropical fruits from the local seller’s boat and engage in conversation with them. Leaving the market, continue aboard to head to Mekong Rustic Homestay on the Tan Phong isles, surrounded by lush tropical fruit gardens. There you check in, enjoy tea and welcome fruits, and a Southern-style Vietnamese lunch prepared by the host family.
In the afternoon, your local host will show you to his orchards where he shares his experience on how to take care of the garden and pick fruits as it is his daily work. Let’s listen to Don Ca Tai Tu while enjoying your self-picked fruits from his garden.
In the late afternoon, you will go to the vegetable garden and pick veggies for your own dinner. After that, we all prepare and cook a family meal with the help of a local host. Homestay overnight in the host family’s surrounded by tropical gardens.

Mekong Delta Cai Be floating market
Wake up in the early morning to enjoy the fresh air of the Mekong Delta and then take a stroll around the homestay, where your 2nd-day tour in Mekong starts.
Breakfast will be ready in the meantime. After breakfast, you will cycle to visit the local kindergarten if it is a school day (optional). On route, stop at a local farmer’s house and learn how to make jackfruit leaf cake. Continue to cycle and stop at a bonsai garden to meet the host. He will introduce the way they plant the bonsai and take care of the orchards.
After making a loop around the isles on the bicycle, we return to the homestay, and have a short rest before saying goodbye to the friendly host. We check out at 11:00 – 11:30 and leave Tan Phong Isles. The ferry will take you back to the wharf to depart for Ho Chi Minh City.

After breakfast and a leisurely morning on your own, you will check out by midday as this will mark the end of your 25-day trip to Vietnam. Your private driver will pick you up and take you back to Tan Son Nhat International airport for your departure flight home.
