Top destinations must-visit this October
Yellow Hoang Su Phi terraced fields in the northern province of Ha Giang is a popular tourist destination. Easily accessible to visitors from My Dinh bus station, the region is 300km from Hanoi.
Visitors can visit the hamlets of Ban Luoc, San Sa Ho, Ban Phung, Ho Thau, Nam Ty and Thong Nguyen which are home to the most scenic terraced fields. The ripening rice season is expected to last until October 10 and visitors can experience local life and taste delicious local food here.
Pu Luong Nature Reverse is 130km north-west of Thanh Hoa province, attracting visitors and photographers to marvel at the yellow rice fields during the ripening rice season.
Da Lat in the central highlands of Lam Dong is another interesting destination for visitors as they can enjoy the sunrise at a mountain pass or savour scenic views of pine forests in the early morning.
Legends had it that one upon a time, the God sent a family of dragons to protect a bay from invaders and you can see the unique shape of the two thousand plus islands surrounding this magical city resembles the bodies of these mythical creatures.
