    Upon arrival at Ho Chi Minh City airport, our driver meets you and brings you to the hotel. You are free to venture out of the hotel and start to take in the sights and sounds of Vietnam. Overnight in hotel at Ho Chi Minh City.

  • Day 2: HO CHI MINH – MEKONG (B,L)

    Depart Ho Chi Minh City at 8:00am. Enjoy the scenic journey along the National Highway bordered by green rice fields. Upon arrival in My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations, and fishing villages along the river bank.

    Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh – a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre. Enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed boat under the shade of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy honey tea and seasonal fruits to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by the locals.

    Visit a family business, which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy, and observe the pastoral life as you explore the fruit plantations and villages.  

    Proceed to Can Tho. Overnight in hotel at Can Tho.

    Take a boat trip to visit the Cai Rang floating market, which is the wholesale market of fruits and vegetables at its busiest time of the day. Keep cruising through the small channels system, and visit a rice noodle making village. Experience the “Monkey Bridge”, made solely out of bamboo in the Delta.

    Rest for lunch. Proceed to Chau Doc, and continue the tour to visit Tra Su. This nature reserve covers a massive area that is home to the rich and diverse species of water birds, fishes, reptiles, bats, and other endangered species. The lush vegetation, abundant florals and fauna created an amazing natural haven for wildlife.

    Take a motorized boat, followed by a row-boat deep into the forest through the lovely channel of waterways. Take a short walk to the observation tower to enjoy the panoramic view of the area.

    Back to the town, on the way back, stop by to visit Sam Mountain, then the Cave pagoda (if time permits).

  • Day 4: CHAU DOC – HO CHI MINH (B,L)

    After breakfast, take a relaxing boat trip through the floating village to visit a fish farm, and see how the Mekong Delta people raise fishes in their floating houses.Visit the Cham minority in their traditional weaving village, followed by a local Islamic Mosque.

    Return back to Ho Chi Minh City.

    Start the trip by visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office, then explore the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War Remnants Museum.

    After lunch, visit the Cu Chi Tunnels. Located 60km from Ho Chi Minh City, Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its strategic role during the American war in Vietnam. It is notable for its network of tunnels, which extends over 220 km, and is a popular destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors.

    Have dinner before going to Tan Son Nhat International Airport (Ho Chi Minh City) for your flight to Siem Reap. Overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.

  • Day 6: SIEM REAP (B)

    After breakfast at hotel, start your sightseeing tour of the Angkor area. Spend the whole day exploring the wondrous ancient ruins at the South Gate of Angkor Thom, which is famous for its series of colossal human faces carved in stone, the impressive Bayon Temple, the Royal Enclosure, Phimeanakas, the Elephant Terrace, the Terrace of the Leper King and the largest as well as the most complete temple of Angkor Wat. This architectural masterpiece was constructed in the 12th century, and covers an area of about 210 hectares.

    Stroll around this massive edifice, view the galleries with columns, libraries, pavilions, courtyards, and ponds reflecting the towering temple. Overnight in Siem Reap.

  • Day 7: SIEM REAP (B)

    After breakfast at hotel, head out from the town, and travel on a newly paved road to the intricately carved and well preserved temple of Banteay Srei. Along the way, stop over at the Preah Dark village, with a visit to the Banteay Samre Temple, adorned with impressive depicting scenes of Vishunu, as well as Krishna legends. In the afternoon, visit the Roluos Group, which served as the capital of Indravarman I (reigned 877-89). Preah KO erected by Indravarman I in the late 9th century was dedicated by the King to his ancestors in 880. Bakong is the most interesting and largest of the Roluos group temple, with his active Buddhist monastery just to the north of the east entrance. Lolei was built on an islet in the centre of a large reservoir by Yasovarman I, the founder to the first city at Angkor.

    After breakfast at the hotel, take a wooden boat to visit the floating village on Tonle Sap Lake. 

    This is the largest permanent freshwater lake in Southeast Asia, and flows into Tonle sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. Observe the local life of fishermen, floating schools, floating police station, among others, just like a big village floating on the lake, with the village moving from place to place following the water levels.

    Then continue to visit Chantiers Ecoles - Les Artisans d'Angkor", which provides training to young Cambodians in an effort to revive the ancient Khmer traditions of stone carving and wood sculpting. Transfer to airport for your flight back home.
