07:45 You will be picked up at your hotel and transported to Paradise cave - the longest dry cave in Asia (located in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, the core zone of the park is 25kms from Phong Nha or 75kms from the town of Dong Hoi, it takes about 1h20 minutes of driving to arrive there from Dong Hoi).
Once inside the Nation Park the tour does a driven loop through Hwy 20 and The Ho Chi Minh Trail West - these routes that dissect the park were built during the “American War” to get troops and material to the south to help in fighting on the southern side of the DMZ line.
Our guides will give you an enormous amount of information relating to the park, its vegetation, geology and wildlife and also historical and cultural information on the area, on Vietnam, and its people.
9:30 You will have the opportunity to visit Lady cave (Dark Cave) before going to Paradise cave. Take a zipline from the top viewpoint on one side down to the otherside of the riverbank. Strap your headlamp on and explore the dark cave. After the cave, hop in a kayak and paddle back upsteam to the starting point
11:00 When you arrive at the foot of the Paradise cave entrance gate, a golf kart buggy will pick you up and drive you along the jungle path and up the steep hillside to the entrance of the cave.
12:30 Lunch at local restaurant in Phong Nha village
13:30 Visit Phong Nha caves. After 25 minutes on boat upstream from town, visitors will arrive Phong Nha cave, this cave is also named the water cave. First the local boat driver will cut the engine, and roll back the rooftop. You will be gracefully rowed 1.5 km into the cave and back. Still inside the cavern you will get out of the boat and onto the beach, where you can explore the rest on foot.
Once outside, you can hike up the steps to Tien Son cave, famous for its enormous stalagmite and stalactite formations which has been given names such as the "Lion", the "Fairy Caves", the "Royal Court", and the "Buddha".
