This jam packed tour brings you to all of the caves in one full day! First stop is Dark cave where you will get to zipline down into the dark opening of the cave. Then with a much need head lamp you will tread knee deep is the mud trails that lead to a pudding like mud bath at the end. After a rince in the natural lake inside the cave, you’ll hop in to a kayak and paddle back upstream to the starting point and off to paradise cave.

Itinerary

07:45 You will be picked up at your hotel and transported to Paradise cave - the longest dry cave in Asia (located in Phong Nha - Ke Bang National Park, the core zone of the park is 25kms from Phong Nha or 75kms from the town of Dong Hoi, it takes about 1h20 minutes of driving to arrive there from Dong Hoi).

Once inside the Nation Park the tour does a driven loop through Hwy 20 and The Ho Chi Minh Trail West - these routes that dissect the park were built during the “American War” to get troops and material to the south to help in fighting on the southern side of the DMZ line.

Our guides will give you an enormous amount of information relating to the park, its vegetation, geology and wildlife and also historical and cultural information on the area, on Vietnam, and its people.

9:30  You will have the opportunity to visit Lady cave (Dark Cave) before going to Paradise cave. Take a zipline from the top viewpoint on one side down to the otherside of the riverbank. Strap your headlamp on and explore the dark cave. After the cave, hop in a kayak and paddle back upsteam to the starting point

11:00  When you arrive at the foot of the Paradise cave entrance gate, a golf kart buggy will pick you up and drive you along the jungle path and up the steep hillside to the entrance of the cave.

12:30   Lunch at local restaurant in Phong Nha village

13:30 Visit Phong Nha caves. After 25 minutes on boat upstream from town, visitors will arrive Phong Nha cave, this cave is also named the water cave. First the local boat driver will cut the engine, and roll back the rooftop. You will be gracefully rowed 1.5 km into the cave and back. Still inside the cavern you will get out of the boat and onto the beach, where you can explore the rest on foot.

Once outside, you can hike up the steps to Tien Son cave, famous for its enormous stalagmite and stalactite formations which has been given names such as the "Lion", the "Fairy Caves", the "Royal Court", and the "Buddha".

17:00  Get back to hotel. Tour ends

Paradise cave is the longest dry cave in all of Asia, mesuring 31kms long, and at some points it’s 72m wide and 150m in height. Only discovered recently in 2005 by a local man, you will walk along the illuminated boardwalk for a kilometer before turning back and returning to the small opening to the cave, that was easily hidden to all human life by the jungle, until only 13 years ago.

Next destination is Phong Nha and Tien Son caves. You will jump into a longtail boat and head along the Phong Nha river where the driver will pull back the convertable roof and turn off the motor. Two local boat people will paddle you 1.5kms into the cave and along the river.

Still inside the giant cave you will hop out of the boat and onto the giant beach that has formed in the cave. Here you can can see some truly awesome Stalactites and Stalagmites while you wander up and out through an opening in the cave.

Then hike up 450 steps to reach the opening of the giant Tien Son cave to see some more famous Stalactites and Stagmites. Now you’ve seen it all.
