  • Day 1: PHNOM PENH

    The tour will begin from the capital of Cambodia. Phnom Penh, just like any other capital in the world, is bustling with life and unlimited energy for you to start your tour with. The city tour will follow the check-in at the hotel so you can shop and visit historical landmarks in the city. This will mainly include the National Museum and the Royal Palace. The Royal Palace was built in 1866 by King Norodom, and now this beautiful complex of the building serves as the royal residence for the King of Cambodia.


    On day 2, you fly out from Phnom Penh to Siem Reap. Siem Reap is considered to be the mystery center of Cambodia. Historical temples like the Angkor temple offer you enough of the mysterious royal touch. You will have the privilege of visiting the Khmer ruins at Angkor Wat. Khmer temple or capital temple used to serve as the capital center of the Khmer empire. This temple has been reduced to ruins over many years, but the restoration of this site has made it one of the most eye-catching ruins in the world today. At the end of the day, you can roam around many high vantage points around Siem Reap that are developed to keep an eye out to the ancient times.

    The beauty of Angkor Complex cannot be explored in one day only, so you will have another day to visit some of the other temples. These are buried deep in the woods, which give them an exotic and haunting look. The experience is right out of a movie, really, this was the setting for the 2001 film ‘Lara Croft: Tomb Raider’, starring Angelina Jolie.

    On day 4, you take a leisurely flight to Vientiane, which is the capital of Laos. This is considered as one of the most laid-back capitals in the world. However, this doesn’t mean that it lacks of places that are worth visiting. You can choose from various temples and Buddhist monuments to visit.

    The most popular Buddhist monument is Pha That Luang, which was built in 1553. It is 45 meters tall and contains a relic of the Lord Buddha. The next temple you may want to visit is the Wat Si Muang. This also belongs to the Khmer era with the statue of King Sisavang Vong, right in front of it. Some other historical places you can visit in the afternoon include Patuxai monument, which you can climb to see the whole city, and cap it in the end with Buddha Park

    The next day, you fly out to Luang Prabang, which is a registered world heritage city. The sightseeing tour of this city is a must do experience for any traveler, which includes the visit of various temples and historic sites.

    The things to see on this tour include Kuang Si Falls, Tat Sae Waterfalls, Pak Ou Caves, Haw Kham Royal Palace Museum and the Wat Xieng Thong temple. You will also have a breathtaking visual of the monks walking in the streets. A small boat ride can also be taken at the Mekong River.

  • Day 6: PAK OU CAVES (B)

    However, you can wait for the next day and take the cruise at Mekong River to Pak Ou Caves, which are right beside the limestone cliff. The whole site is full of statues of Buddha. Many eateries run along the river with a specialty in fish dishes, before you return back to Luang Prabang in the evening.

    The Kuang Si Waterfalls, is an area filled with multi-tiered waterfalls and vibrant blue water rushing down and around them. Here you’ll be able to take in the stunning beauty of nature at it’s best, with breathtaking view of the magnificent cascading waterfalls, surrounded by deep lush jungle.

    You can also interact with people residing in small villages that are of H’mong and Khmu ethnic minority. The lunch will be in the open, where you can see and hear the water crashing into the bed of the waterfall. You may even get into the water and get connected.

    It is recommended that you leave all of your souvenir shopping for this day. You will get an ample amount of time after breakfast to shop for friends and family. After this, you will get driven to the airport, where you take the international flight back home.
