Itinerary

We will pick you up at the airport and bring you to the hotel. You will have your own
free time to relax and rest after the flight. Take this opportunity to wander around the Old
Quarter, where your hotel is located.

Have breakfast at hotel. Check out your room at noon. You will have your own time to
relax or do some shopping. At 17.00, our English-speaking tour guide will meet you at
the hotel where we start our walking street food tour. The tour guide will not only walk
you through the world of Hanoi’s street food but will also introduce some of Hanoi’s
delightful and interesting architecture along the way. You will eat as you walk, sample
seasonal fruits and some French inspired foods from various local food stalls. Return to
your hotel at around 20.00.
Our driver will transfer you to the train station. Take a tourist night train to Lao Cai
(Sapa), 4 people in 1 cabin, you will share a cabin with other tourists.

Your tour guide will meet you at the station and transfer you by minivan to the hotel for
breakfast and coffee/tea.
09.00: Leave your baggage behind and start trekking. With your guide you will walk
down 6km to the south east of Sapa, along the side of Muong Hoa valley, to Y Linh Ho
village, of the Black H’mong. Continue on 2km of trekking down to Lao Chai village, of
the H’mong.
Lunch at a local family’s home, and then walk through terraced rice fields to Ta Van
village, of the Dzay minority people. You will get to wander about and see the lifestyle,
ancient customs, and observe the daily life in the hill tribe villages. It is a very unique
way of living, much different from our own developed and hectic world. Take time to
unwind and let your shoulds sink down and relax. Your neck will appreciate looking up
and around, rather than down at a LCD screen all day. Have dinner with the local family
of the homestay. Overnight at the homestay in Sapa.

Have breakfast and coffee. You see the trend? Vietnam loves coffee!
9:00 : Continue on 14 km of trekking to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, and the H’mong.
Visit a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge. Enjoy trekking the landscape through the
bamboo forest. This essential building material for the locals, bamboo is one of the fastest
growing plants in the world. It can grow at astonishing speeds of up to a millimeter every
90 seconds! Yay, renewable resources!!!
After lunch at Su Pan village, a car will pick you up from the lunch point, back to Sapa
town. Have dinner before going to the train station. Take a night train back to Hanoi.

Your driver will meet you at the station and transfer you by minivan to the hotel. After
breakfast, we head towards Halong Bay city. At about noon, we arrive in the city where
you will be transferred to the cruise ship at the harbour. Upon boarding, you will be
provided with a welcome drink, followed by a cruise and safety briefing session before
cabin check-in. The cruise begins.
Have lunch on board the ship while cruising and passing by fascinating sights such as the
Dog islet, Fighting Cock islet (symbol of Halong Bay), Hoa Cuong fishing village, and
Swan islet. The ship continues exploring the wonders of Halong bay, passing by
countless islands including Soi Sim beach, Coconut Tree Island. Anchor at Frog Pond
area where you have the chance to explore this hidden gem, either kayaking through the
majestic scenery or swimming in emerald colored water.

Before dinner, either relax on the sundeck with cocktails or attend a cooking
demonstration with our Chef to learn how to prepare popular Vietnamese food - spring
rolls. Enjoy a sumptuous dinner on board. After that, you can either relax at your own
time. You can also go squid fishing, spa services or dip in the hot Jacuzzi.

Wake up to an energetic morning with the Tai Chi class among the peaceful surroundings
of Halong. After the morning activity, have breakfast before you visit Sung Sot Cave,
hiking up and down 600 steps to the magnificent limestone formations of the most
beautiful and biggest cave in Halong bay.
Have an early check-out with brunch served right after as we head back to the Halong
harbour. Our bus will pick you up and return back to Hanoi. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

In the morning, our tour guide will pick you up at your hotel to head to Ninh Binh city,
about 98km away from Hanoi. We will visit the Bai Dinh Pagoda and Trang An caves.
Our guide and driver will take you to Bai Dinh Pagoda, the largest pagoda complex in
Vietnam with more than 500 La Han statues, including a huge spectacular bronze Buddha
standing at 10 meters tall.
12.30 - 14.00: Lunch in a local restaurant with specialty dishes (Goat, pork)
14.30: Continue on to visit Trang An, a scenic landscape complex, which is recognized as
an UNESCO World natural heritage site. Get on a rowing boat to wade along the small
river surrounded by scenic mountains, caves and green fields.
17.00: After the tour, we make our way back to Hanoi.
You will have free time to eat and prepare for the flight to Danang. Overnight at hotel in
Hoian.

You arrive to Danang train station at midday; our driver will bring you to Hoian for
check in. You spend this free afternoon enjoying a walking tour around this enchanting
port town. You will see numerous art galleries and tailor shops, and you can even get
some made-to-order clothes if you like. Overnight at the hotel in Hoi An.

8.30: Pick up at your hotel for a trip to the market to check out freshly grown local herbs.
Then we board our river boat for a relaxing 40-minute ride to Thuan Tinh Island,
recognized by Hoi An as an official ecological zone. To visit the local village, we take a
round boat trip through the water coconut trees. Walk through the gardens to visit Miss
Hoa's house who will be your host. After greeting her family, you will snack on grilled
rice cakes with iced tea. From there, we head back to our open-air cooking class,
overlooking the peaceful river and water coconut trees. Our chefs will show you how to

make Vietnamese food while you enjoy the cool breeze. Our chefs will also prepare a 4-
course cooking lesson of traditional Vietnamese dishes. They demonstrate how to prepare
them, and then it will be your turn to prepare your own tasty Vietnamese lunch! Have
your own free time in the afternoon. Overnight at the hotel in Hoi An.

Today, you take a domestic flight from Danang to Hochiminh city. Our driver will meet
you at Tan Son Nhat airport and transfer you to your hotel. You will have your own free
time to visit this dynamic city.

We start the tour by visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, the historic Central Post Office,
followed by exploring the Reunification Palace, and the remarkable site of the War
Remnants Museum. After lunch, depart to Cu Chi tunnels. Located 60km from Ho Chi
Minh City, Cu Chi is now a popular tourism spot for both Vietnamese and foreign
tourists. It is basically a network of over 200km of tunnels, which plays a vital role
during the Vietnam War. The tunnels used to function as underground cities, with
numerous trap doors, specially constructed living areas, storage facilities, weapons
factories, field hospitals, command centers and kitchens. Today, ducks and water buffalos
happily co-exist around the rivers along the sides of the road. Overnight at the hotel in Ho
Chi Minh city.

Leave Ho Chi Minh city, enjoy the scenic journey along the way bordered by green rice
fields. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along
the river, view stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank.
Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh
– a less touristy attraction in Ben Tre, enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the
shade of the water coconut trees along natural canals, then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey
tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by the locals. Visit a
family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste delicious coconut candy
& observe the pastoral life as you roam through fruit plantations and villages. Proceed to
Can Tho. Overnight in the hotel. Free time to visit bustling Can Tho market.

Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong
river ( Bassac River), then proceed to visit Cai Rang floating market (& Phong Dien is
optional), which are the liveliest in the whole religion.
Have you ever tasted Vietnamese vermicelli soup? Well, now go and see how it is made.
Then wander around the village and meet the friendly local people and experience how to

cross a "Monkey bridge" which is built by only one stem of bamboo. Visit the orchard
garden. Stop for lunch on the way and return back to Hochiminh city.

On the last day of the tour, you will have your free time to do any last-minute shopping
before you leave Vietnam. We will pick you up and bring you to the airport, before
waving goodbye as you take the flight back home.
